Help Little Teeth!
Little Teeth is my favorite band right now.
They are currently making their second album and need some help with doing so. Clicking the link will take you to a Kickstarter page, where you can take part in helping people create what, from what I have heard, will be a remarkable and beautiful piece of art.
That’s the short of it.
The four times I have seen them have been explosive, at times with me clutching my chest out of fear that it either might jump out of my chest or that they might tear it out. They perform with (literally) every part of their bodies, with soul crushing outpourings of emotions, at times both frightening and beautiful. Little Teeth encompasses and tests all the boundaries of what it means to make music, using it to channel modes of expression that I’ve rarely seen before. It’s soothed me asleep, given me panic attacks, and been the band that makes everything okay after working 9-5. After two US Tours and one of Europe this band does not fuck around.
Dannie, Sofia and Sean are doing all of this from the ground up, rising from the ashes of the previous incarnation of Little Teeth carrying nothing but demos of the new material: screaming, squeaking, singing and howling at anyone that will invest the tiniest bit of faith in them.
I like them A lot.
Their new material is extraordinary and I have the utmost faith that this album will be a masterpiece.
